Aired Saturday evenings in the Spring of 1980.

This13 week series of half hour programs featured Al Oeming, a
wildlife conservationist on the road to save rare animals, mostly in
Canada’s North. A typical episode would featuring Oeming locating and
trapping rare animals and endangered species for his Alberta Game Farm.
Wolverines, Grey Owls and Grizzly Bears were some of the animals Oeming
helped.
 
Oeming was profiled on Telescope in 1969, on a show called Noah of the
Northland. It featured a profile of his game farm, southeast of
Edmonton, and the 90 species of animals and birds that lived there.

The show featured Leslie Nielsen as host, and it was directed by Dennis
Saunders or Jack Kaufman. This was a co-production of Nielsen-Ferns
International and the CBC.
