The comedy team of Ted Ziegler and Peter Cullen starred in this Saturday morning half-hour, which yet again demonstrated Ziegler’s ability to create programs which entertained children, but which gave their parents something to enjoy too. Along with the broad slapstick, there was always some very funny dialogue from The Buddies, whether as astronauts, cowboys or whatever Ziegler drummed up next.
The series played on CTV on Saturday mornings at 10:00am. It was produced at CFCF-TV Montreal, and had a one-year run on the network in the 1967-68 season.
