Aired Friday afternoons from December 1976 to March 1977.Four documentary films were produced by the CBC Children’s Division, each of which told a story about a child or group of children in a particular region of Canada.

Rodeo Boy, for instance, told the story of a teenager who wanted to become a professional rodeo cowboy. This film was produced and directed by Jack Emack of Edmonton.
Maple Syrup told the story of farm children in Quebec’s Eastern Townships. It was produced by John Thorne of Montreal. Sandy Lumsden produced an interesting portrait of children who lived in a lighthouse on Mosher Island in Nova Scotia,  and Ray Hazzan directed a film about children’s ideas of Canada.
