Aired Wednesday nights at 10:30 from February to September, 1970.

In 1969, a program called Comedy Cafe debuted featuring satiric sketches about French and English relations in Canada. It was canceled after six episodes. Comedy Crackers had a longer life, but was essentially the same format. It was produced in front of an audience,at the Windsor Hotel in Montreal, in the Versailles Room, and Dale Barnes was the producer.

The cast was made up of Barrie Baldaro, Dave Broadfoot, George Carron, Joan Stuart and Ted Zeigler: all of whom were in the Comedy Cafe. In fact, many of the segments appearing in that show, were in this one, including L’Anglaise, the Francophone husband and Anglophone wife sketch with Stuart and Carron.

Alec Bollini and Stanley Gibbons were featured performers too, supported by the Harry Marks orchestra.
