This was a 30-minute public affairs program dedicated to people with disabilities. Susan Pettit and Joe Coughlin were the hosts. This program focused on legal issues, social services, health care, and ways people with disabilities made contributions to society. CBC in Toronto produced the program with the cooperation of the Centre for Independent Living, the Government of Canada and the Municipality of Toronto.

Joanne Smith took over as host in 1997. The following year, Movin’ On made its debut as a follow-up to The Disability Network.
