One of many CTV game show series hosted by Jim Perry, Headline Hunters challenged contestants to identify not just news stories, but objects, places and people in the public eye for one reason or another.
Headline Hunters was introduced to the CTV schedule in September 1972 at 7:30pm on Tuesdays, and enjoyed an exceptionally successful run before having its final prime time airing at 8:30pm on Mondays in the 1981-82 season. The series returned in repeats in stripping Mondays-Fridays at 10:00am for the 1982-83 season.
