On March 4th 2015, the CBC announced that it had made a commitment to Pivotal Media for a series of ten half-hour programs to be titled Hello and Goodbye.
It would feature, said the CBC release, “…emotional stories from people in a vibrant Canadian airport,” and would “…reveal themes of love, family bonds, friendships, immigration, grief and joyful reunion.”
The series was planned for broadcast in 2016.
