Histoires des filles

Network: TVA Television Network

Broadcast Run: 1998 to 2008

Broadcast Medium: Television

Histoires de filles was above all a delightful and panoramic story of friendship between a group of charming women, around whom a certain number of men hung out, and who were a part of the plot that guided this TV soap opera, which aired until 2008, after 199 episodes.

Over the years, this group of characters developed a kind of collusion amongst one another that was both funny and kind-hearted. They knew that they could always count upon one another to share both their giggles and their tears.

For nearly ten years in the same time slot, Tuesdays at 20:00, these TV characters gave a certain rhythm to the lives of thousands of Quebeckers. Based upon an original idea by Louis Saia and Lise Mauffette, Histoires de filles was written by Pascal Blanchet, René Brisebois, François Camirand and Jean Pelletier. The director was Pierre Lord

The leading actors in this TV soap opera were Nathalie Mallette, Marie-Chantal Perron, Catherine Lachance, Pascale Montpetit, Michel Laperrière, Laurent Paquin and Guy Jodoin.

From 1999 to 2008, Histoires de filles attracted an average of 1,300,000 TV viewers per episode who ended up watching some 800 hours of this great series.
