This hour long series featured movies about children, from independent
producers including Linda Schuyler, who introduced audiences to the Kids of Degrassi Street.
Some of the titles included: The World According To
Nicholas, produced and directed by Bruce Pittman (later director of the
Oscar-winning short film, Boys And Girls), starring Danny Higham,
Michael Fletcher, Don Francks, Barbara Hamilton, Jane Mallet, Barry
Morse, Kate Parr, and Fiona Reid. Subsequently the series aired the
Halifax production Jenny Koo Koo; Lisa Makes The Headlines; Sophie
Minds The Store; Noel Buys A Suit; Jimmy And Luke; Irene Moves In; and
A Time to be Brave.
