Viewers were exposed to some of the most important writers in Canadian literature including Margaret Atwood, Leonard Cohen, bp Nichol, Al Purdy, bill bissett, Earle Birney, Irving Layton, Robert Hogg, Michael Ondaatje, George Bowering and Dorothy Livesay.
