2006

On November 15, King’s Kids Promotions Outreach Ministries Inc. was granted a licence to operate a low-power Christian music FM radio station in Fort McMurray. King’s Kids is a not for profit organization and owns CKKK-FM Peterborough. The new station would operate on a frequency of 91.1 MHz with an effective radiated power of 35 watts. The format would be Christian Hot Adult Contemporary/Contemporary Hit Radio, targeting listeners between 18 and 34 years of age.

2007

CKOS-FM “KAOS 91.1” signed on the air June 4 at 7:30 a.m. Studios and offices were located at 10014 Main Street in Fort McMurray.

2014

On November 18, the CRTC approved the application by CKOS-FM to relocate the transmitter site, and by increasing the average ERP from 35 to 40,000 watts and the EHAAT from 72.1 to 96.5 metres.

2016

In April, CKOS increased ERP from 35 watts to 17,000 watts (40,000 watts Maximum ERP).

2018

On August 10, the CRTC approved an application by United Christian Broadcasters Media Canada to acquire Christian music station Kaos 91.1 from King’s Kids Promotions Outreach Ministries Inc. in exchange for assuming debt of $108,962. The commission also waived the requirement to pay tangible benefits, noting that CKOS-FM had suffered significant financial losses over an extended period of time.

2019

In April, CKOS rebranded from The Bridge to UCB Radio 91.1.
