1975

On November 18, Radio Beauce Inc. was denied an AM rebroadcaster for CKRB at Lac Etchemin (920 kHz, 1,000 watts).

1976

Radio Beauce Inc. received approval to operate a new AM station at Lac Etchemin. It would broadcast on a frequency of 1240 kHz and have a daytime power of 1,000 watts and night-time power of 250 watts. Programming would originate with CKRB St-Georges, and include four hours of programming each day oriented to the Lac Etchemin area.

1977

CIRB 1240 signed on the air October 16.

1984

On December 13, CIRB received approval to increase night power from 250 watts to 1,000 watts.

1986  

On December 8, authority was granted for the transfer of effective control of Radio Beauce Inc., through the transfer of 30 common voting shares (50%) from the estate of Jules Venne to Nelson Jalbert, the other shareholder. Mr. Jalbert would now hold effective control of the company.

1991

On May 14, Radio Beauce Inc. had its request to revoke the licence of CIRB 1240 granted. The station left the air.
