Aired weekly, on Saturday evenings, from 1997 to 2003 A fusion of two CBC radio shows, RadioSonic was an eclectic blend of alternative music heard on Nightlines and Realtime. The hosts of those shows, Norman Wisdom and Leora Kornfeld respectively, hosted this program until 1999. Kornfeld left to pursue an academic career in England. The producer of the series, Grant Lawrence, co-hosted the show until 2003. The format of the show and its presentation of independent artists actually helped launch CBC Radio 3, the on-line magazine of music, articles and photographs.
