Shoot the Messenger was the title of a new series announced by the CBC on March 4th 2015. Eight episodes of this new one-hour drama were ordered from Hungry Eyes Entertainment, for broadcast in 2016.
The series was written by Sudz Sutherland and Jennifer Holness, and followed a young journalist who, while working on her first murder case, became involved with a web of urban gangs, the political class, corporate powerbrokers and the police.
