Aired Thursday nights from January to March 1975. Aired Friday nights from April to June 1975. Aired Thursday nights from March to June, 1976.

This half hour program was dedicated to independent filmmakers. It was produced by Julius Kohanyi, filmmaker, and hosted, on a rotating basis, by Frederick Manter, Michael Hirsh, Mark Stone, Whitney Smith and Jana Veverka.

Documentaries, dramas, animation and experimental films all found a place on Sprockets each week.
