Aired Sunday nights from September 1969 to September 1973.
This time slot was given this somewhat banal title because a different type of program aired each week. Some weeks it was a comedy special from Wayne and Shuster or a drama, such as The Manipulators. Two BBC series made their North American debuts, Elizabeth R starring Glenda Jackson, and The Six Wives of Henry VIII, starring Keith Michell.
The schedule did allow for CBC productions under the supervision of Ronald Weyman. These were also known under the blanket title, Anthology.
