1980’s
CIER-TV began broadcasting.
1985
On June 12, the CRTC renewed the broadcasting licence for the multi-channel transmitting undertaking and for the television community station (CIER-TV) serving Ear Falls, until September 30, 1990. CIER-TV would continue to operate on channel 2 with a transmitter power of 10 watts. This station broadcast approximately 2 hours per week of locally-produced programs, including local events, council and community updates, recreational activities, interviews with local historians, and tournaments.

On September 17, the CRTC administratively renewed CIER-TV licence until March 31, 1991.
On November 19, the CRTC administratively renewed the licence for CIER-TV until September 30, 1991. The term would enable the Commission to consider the renewal of this licence at the same time as the licence for the multi-channel broadcasting undertaking (MTV) at Ear Falls which was also held by the Ear Falls T.V. Committee.
1991
On September 27, the licenses were administratively renewed for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking (MTV) serving Ear Falls and the broadcasting licence for CIER-TV Ear Falls, until October 31, 1991.
On October 7, the CRTC renewed the licence for the radiocommunication distribution undertaking (MTV) serving Ear Falls and the broadcasting licence for CIER-TV Ear Falls, until August 31, 1996. This term would enable the Commission to consider the renewal of these licenses at the same time as that of other undertakings in the area.
1996
On August 8, the CRTC renewed the broadcasting licence for the television programming undertaking CIER-TV Ear Falls until August 31, 2003.
2003
On July 21, CIER-TV’s licence was administratively renewed until November 30, 2003.
On November 20, the CRTC renewed the licence of Ear Falls T.V. Committee’s CIER-TV until August 31, 2010.
2010
On August 9, CIER-TV’s licence was administratively renewed by the CRTC until August 31, 2011.
2011
On July 12, the CRTC administratively renewed the licence of CIER-TV until August 31, 2013.
2012
On January 30, the CRTC revoked the licence of CIER-TV at the request of the Ear Falls T.V. Committee.
