In January 2004 Todd Goldsbie received CRTC approval for a new speciality channel to be called TFN – The Fight Network. In February 2005, ownership of The Fight Network Inc was transferred to Goldsbie’s partner Mike Garrow, and the channel was launched in September 2005, with programming including boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts, kickboxing and other similar competitive sports, and series, documentaries and movies on those themes. The Fight Network Inc. is a subsidiary of the First Canadian American Holding Company. In April of 2011, the network was re-branded as Fight Network from The Fight Network.
