Vacation Canada

Network: CBC Television Network

Broadcast Run: 1969 to 1970

Broadcast Medium: Television

Aired Wednesday nights from April 7 to May 26, 1971.

This half hour program featured stories about outdoor activities. It was hosted by John Foster, who with his wife Janet produced their own series of travel films for CBC and syndication.

This show suffered from an inconsistent time slot: it followed NHL playoff games and Montreal Expo telecasts. Consequently, it only ran for a couple of months. The show was produced and directed by Neil Andrews. John Lackie was the Executive Producer.
