Aired Saturdays and Sundays at various times, from April 1961 to October 1965.

This two hour weekend program covered sports events in Canada and around the world. It featured the then-current roster of sports broadcasters including Fred Sgambati, Don Wittman, Doug Maxwell and Steve Douglas.

The show’s line-up was typically seasonal: CFL and University football in the fall, curling in the winter, golf in the summer. In September of 1961, the program broadcast its first NFL game between Detroit and Green Bay.

The series was produced by Ty Lemburg, and was later replaced by CBC Sports Presents.
