Doug Paulson, later to make a name for himself as the host of CTV’s Thrill of a Lifetime series, was the host of this half-hour panel show, which originated from Edmonton. A celebrity panel, which included such luminaries as Alex Barris and Dinah Christie, was augmented with stars of stage shows visiting Edmonton, such as Harold Gould, and local sports personalities

Each program was dedicated to a single subject – advertising, sports, theatre etc – and there was always a guest panellist who was a specialist on the subject for that week.

the series was produced in the studios of CTV affiliate station CFRN-TV by Lisa Olfman.   Alex Barris’s daughter Kate wrote many of the questions (but didn’t give her Dad an advance look), and the series had a brief, 26-week run on CTV from March through September 1979.  It was delivered to the affiliates on Sundays at 6:30pm, but played in various time periods across the country.
